A product lab for
better tools and
digital products.
Dommo Labs turns messy workflows, operational friction, and early ideas into custom software through close collaboration and rapid prototyping.
You know the problem. Let's build something better.
Most projects start the same way. Something important is still being done by hand, the same friction keeps coming back, or there's a good idea that hasn't been turned into the right product yet.
"This should be easier than it is."
Something important is taking too many steps, too much workaround, or too much time. That usually means the system needs to change.
"We keep solving the same thing."
If the same friction keeps coming back, it may be time to stop patching it and build the right tool. Sometimes that tool is just for your team. Sometimes it's something other people need too.
"I know what I need, I just can't build it."
That's okay. Bring the context, the pain point, or the half-formed idea. We'll figure out whether it should become a better internal system, a prototype, or a real product.
Problems that became products.
From spreadsheets, workarounds, and repeated friction to tools and products people actually use. Some solve a problem inside one business. Some reach far beyond it.
We build custom tools and products from what you already have: a spreadsheet into a system, a manual process into better software, a workaround into a real product, a repeated pain point into something scalable, a napkin sketch into a working prototype, an internal fix into a product others can use, the thing you built for yourself into a product for everyone else.
Getting started is simple, flexible and direct.
Getting started looks like a conversation, a clear picture of what to build, and a fixed price before any code. Internal tool or bigger product, the path is the same: understand the problem first, build the right thing for it.

Always with transparency. No hourly surprises, no scope creep invoices.
Internal tool or bigger product.
Some problems need a better system behind the scenes. Others are worth shaping into something larger people can actually sign up for and use.
It starts with a simple conversation.
No forms, no pitch deck. Just bring the problem.
No handoffs. No outsourcing.
The same person scoping the work is the one building it.
Hi, I'm Dominic (aka Dommo).
I've been tinkering for as long as I can remember, building websites, experiments, and little systems just to see if I could make them work. That never really stopped. What changed is that the technology finally caught up, and now I can build things that are far more ambitious than what I could build before.
My career has run through three worlds. High-pressure creative production shaping major brand campaigns. UX work for public media, where clarity and mission mattered. And lab-like environments where emerging technology was being pushed toward real problems.
Dommo Labs is where those threads come together: useful tools and products shaped around how the work actually happens.

Let's have a quick chat. Hard problems are kind of the thing I like talking about — no pitch, no sales call, no pressure.
